Circle the Summit road ride is a non-profit bike ride that tours the scenic Rocky Mountain vistas of Summit County, Colorado. For all ages and abilities.
Whether you’re on the bike tour “circuit,” or you’re only planning on one organized ride this summer, do yourself a favor and check out Circle the Summit. This ride will take you through some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere in the Colorado Rockies. There are four rides ranging in distance from 21 to 100 miles. Our routes are a “circle” around Summit County’s beautiful high mountain Lake Dil
lon. There is no shuttling involved, as each loop starts and ends at the same location. Recreational riders and families can enjoy a scenic tour on the Summit County bike path that circles Lake Dillon. Century riders will climb some of Colorado’s highest passes, including Loveland, Ute and Vail passes. Check out the ride information on our website. This is the fourth year of our ride and we’re truly proud of what we have to offer. Circle the Summit will involve a day on nice paved shoulders and the use of our flagship bike path system, arguably one of the most extensive and beautiful bike paths in the country. There are multiple well-furnished aid stations along the way to help riders refresh, eat, repair, and relax along with other riders. And your participation helps! Proceeds from this ride are used to improve and maintain this incredible bike/rec path network.
