May photo recap. This past week we begin a new adventure to a sweet and peaceful
rental home and even after a week, there’s still so much to discover. I thought I’d share some photos while recharging today haha. ☺️

My favorite part is my new and used piano! I’m learning as I go but it’s been so much fun!

The most beautiful things in life are often the simplest, aren’t they? That’s why on World Smile Day, I take it very seriously to spread kindness wherever I go. You never know what people are going through or who needs a pick me up! I wish everyday was World Smile Day. Even my fourth grade daughter understands the importance of kindness. How are you spreading the love this World Smile Day?

What a beautiful Saturday celebrating these two as they officially tied the knot at the gorgeous surrounded by so much love, laughter, and the sweetest family and friends. How do you recharge?

I’m a portrait and brand photographer, so you can probably guess that from day to day I lean on my camera, my go-to lenses, and Lightroom to do what I love. What might surprise you is how necessary a massive external hard drive (and a strict folder system) is to keep my work organized and my panic at bay. What do you do and what do you use to do it?

Just like a vehicle requires fuel to operate, I, too, need fuel to function. If you know me, it should come as no surprise that my preferred fuel source is chocolate donuts with rainbow sprinkles because they satisfy my sweet tooth and keep my creativity flowing between shoots. You could say I’m not very fuel efficient — I tend to refill my tank every Sunday morning — but those little bites of joy keep me energized. What about you, friend…how do you fuel up?

Do you have a morning routine? Mine involves lots of coffee, and then I take a quick walk with my dog to gather my thoughts and look for soft, story-worthy light. When I don’t start my morning like this, I feel “off” all day — what’s your morning routine?

TikTok, and Instagram, and Facebook… oh my! There is SO much I love about social media. I’m crazy about Tiktok lately and the way I use it to engage with potential clients/the hilarious escape I get when I go down the rabbit hole. Honestly, with Tiktok it’s a godsend, when I consider how difficult it is to start a business on a budget/there’s nothing like a pug and a chubby toddler to give you that boost you need!
