It’s been a hot minute since we’ve gotten to do anything fun to our house. We’ve been having to repair & replace all the boring stuff the past couple of years! But we are now repairing some water damage upstairs, so it’s my chance to have some fun picking finishes. Half of this has already been done - next week starts some tile & paint work! Realllllly wanting to look at something different over our fireplace but I just can’t decide. Black mirror? Gold mirror? Painting? Any ideas out there for me? Ready to retire this quatrefoil mirror from 2012 🙃

The nook got a comfort upgrade just in time for holidays. I guess we are all grown up now, getting fabric covered kitchen chairs!

I saw this vintage piece of art the other day sitting in a closet at my parents’ house. It was in my great, great aunt’s home in New Orleans at least 75 years ago. Small and stunning and the perfect compliment to our pendants 🤩
