🤝 Why do some of North Texas’ top real estate agents call us in on their deals?
Because we do what we say we’re going to do.
And we get it done—no excuses.
We understand the pressure of real estate transactions. Timelines matter. Closings matter. People are counting on it. And when things get tight, we move mountains to help agents get across the finish line.
Here’s a real example from this week:
✔️ Contract signed Saturday afternoon
✔️ Crew on-site at 6:30am Monday, ready at first light
✔️ Materials? Not delivered… so we went and got them ourselves
✔️ Roof completed by mid-afternoon to keep closing on track
That’s what it takes. That’s what we do.
But this one meant more.
This wasn’t just another transaction. This was a sweet couple preparing to move out of state to be closer to family, as the husband battles Alzheimer’s. That hits close to home for me, and it’s a reminder that behind every project is a story.
In moments like this, it’s not just about speed—it’s about care, empathy, and doing right by people when it matters most.
We say it all the time:
👉 We install roofs and handle exterior work…
👉 But we’re really in the relationship business.
Out of thousands of contractors in DFW, this agent trusted us with this opportunity—and we don’t take that lightly.
Because more often than not, the people we serve are walking through something bigger than the project itself.
Storm damage. Life changes. Stressful transitions.
We show up ready—for all of it.

🌩️ Before the Storm Hits…
Every year it happens. March rolls around, severe weather is forecasted, and suddenly:
The winds pick up.
The hail falls.
Phones start ringing.
And trucks with out-of-town plates are everywhere.
Here’s the hard truth:
The worst time to choose a general contractor is after a storm.
We were recently brought in to consult for a homeowner in the Anna/Melissa area who hired the first company that knocked on his door.
He was stressed. His roof was leaking. Windows were blown out. Water in the house.
He panicked.
That’s exactly what storm chasers count on.
Here’s what we found:
• Permits charged for — never pulled
• Work billed — not completed (nearly $10k worth)
• Inflated pricing
• Discontinued shingles installed
• Wrong ridge and wrong color
• No proof of warranty registration
• No copy of signed contract
• Backdated invoice with threats of 18% interest and a lien
• Workmanship that would have caused immediate leaks
Original estimate? Over $180,000.
Actual needed repairs? Around $60–65k.
Let that sink in.
This doesn’t just hurt one homeowner — it impacts everyone. Inflated claims and unethical practices are a major reason premiums rise, deductibles increase, coverages shrink, and claims get denied.
Storm damage is real.
Panic decisions are expensive.
When emotions are high, mistakes get made.
Before storm season ever shows up, you should already know:
✔️ Who you would call
✔️ Who actually lives and works in your community
✔️ Who understands the insurance process
✔️ Who will answer the phone next year
Storm chasers chase opportunity.
Local contractors build relationships.
At Texas Forever General Contracting, we believe preparation beats panic every time.
If you don’t already have a contractor you trust, now is the time to vet one — not when your roof is leaking.

March 2, 1836.
Texas declared its independence — built on grit, faith, hard work, and people willing to stand their ground.
Growing up in West Texas, those values weren’t just history lessons… they were everyday life.
You keep your word.
You work until the job’s done.
You take care of your neighbors.
From cotton fields in the Panhandle to rooftops across DFW, that independent Texas spirit is still what drives us at Texas Forever General Contracting.
We believe in doing things the right way.
We believe integrity still matters.
And we believe serving people well is something to be proud of.
Happy Texas Independence Day from our family to yours.
Texas Forever.
