Continue Therapy Goals at Home:
Progress doesn’t have to pause during winter break. Simple home activities like reading together, outdoor play, or language-rich conversations help children stay on track. Consistency matters more than intensity.

12/17/2025

Holiday events can overwhelm children with sensory sensitivities. Loud music, bright lights, crowds, and schedule changes can create stress. Prepare your child by discussing what to expect, keeping transitions smooth, and offering quiet moments when needed.

12/16/2025

Many children lose progress during long breaks due to disrupted routines, sensory overload, and reduced practice. With consistency and structured activities, families can help maintain skills until school resumes. Small daily routines make a significant difference.

Winter break is more than a holiday. It’s a powerful opportunity to make meaningful progress in therapy.
At Summit Therapy, our Winter Break Intensive Therapy Program offers a focused, individualized plan with 10 sessions over two weeks—designed to accelerate progress without the limits of weekly insurance-based visits.
Who benefits from intensive therapy?
• Children working on speech sounds, articulation, fluency, stuttering, or language delays
• Children receiving school-based services but needing faster progress
• Pediatric clients who benefit from a structured boost during school breaks
• Adults recovering from stroke who need high-frequency therapy
• Adults with Parkinson’s disease who benefit from consistent speech and swallowing support
• Anyone who needs progress beyond what insurance covers
Why winter break matters:
Long breaks often lead to regression. Winter break gives families uninterrupted time to focus on therapy without school, homework, or packed schedules, helping clients maintain momentum and start the new year stronger and more confident.
Spots are limited for winter break.
Contact Summit Therapy to learn more, schedule an evaluation, or reserve your intensive therapy sessions today.
