Customer Tip from the Field – Windshield Washer Not Spraying?
We recently serviced a Jeep Laredo where the windshield washer fluid wasn’t spraying properly. The issue? A clogged washer pump filter and gelled-up washer fluid inside the reservoir (see photos).
Our technician removed the filter, cleaned the reservoir, and cleared out all the buildup. After a quick flush and reinstallation, the system was spraying perfectly again.
If your washer fluid isn’t coming out, this might be the fix. Old or mixed fluids can break down and clog the filter over time. Keeping the system clean helps avoid motor damage or costly repairs.

A “simple fuse” job that turned into an electrical rescue…
This 2015 Toyota RAV4 came to us after the customer accidentally jump-started it backwards. That alone is enough to fry key circuits—and sure enough, it blew the 120-amp main fuse. But that fuse isn’t easy to get to... it’s bolted in and buried under the fuse box.
To make things more interesting, the customer had already swapped around a bunch of fuses trying to fix it.
So here’s what we had to do:
Disassemble the entire under-hood fuse box
Trace and correct misplaced fuses
Unbolt and replace the blown 120A fuse
Test and verify everything was functioning again
