CottonPatch Aerodrome TA77 was a 10 acre private Airport with a grass runway, 2 airplane hangars, 4 outbuildings & 3 residences—each with individual water wells/well houses. It was sold to D.R. Horton in late 2013 & has been developed as Enclave at Creekwood subdivision. The name of our former private caliche road remains CottonPatch Lane, which now serves as the main thoroughfare through the development. You never know what you’ll find when you enter a home, but most of us don’t expect ghosts! This plumber was at house to fix a leak, and he kindly investigated the customer’s concern about spooky noises in the attic. He wasn’t surprised to find that the “ghosts” were just a family of squirrels. What no one expected, though, was for one of the squirrels to run and leap at the plumber’s face! Have your efforts to help ever gone wrong like this – or worse?! What wild situations have you encountered on the job?
