Save Lives with Us! Our rescue saves dogs and cats from streets & shelters in the Houston area, finding them loving homes across the U.S. & Canada.

We adopt out with transport stops in WA, OR, UT, ID, OH, VA, CT, NY, VT, PA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI & MN! The animals that come into our program are placed in foster homes or boarding, given time to decompress and receive proper medical treatment, then they are posted for adoption in northern states for families like you to adopt!

The amount of time and love that goes into the whole transport process is honestly hard to explain.

But these pictures from our PNW transport capture so many feelings for us. Each one feels like a chapter closing and a brand new one beginning with their forever homes. ❤️❤️

To our adopters — some of these dogs have already lived through so many chapters at such a young age. Thank you for being part of the best ones yet. We love y’all!!

Thank you for your continued support and for helping make moments like this possible.

And if you’re new here, follow our sister page to see all of our available pets looking for their families! Share our posts, like, follow along, and help us get the word out about this mission. The more people who see them, the more lives we can save.

Remember Sonny Boy?

The little black puppy found all alone in Cleveland, Texas with skin issues that made it clear life hadn’t been very kind to him.

Look at him now.

Don’t get us wrong, Sonny still has a long road ahead. His skin is still healing, his treatment isn’t over, and he’s not out of the woods yet. But somewhere along the way, this sweet boy has started learning how to just be a puppy.

And wow, is he becoming a good one.

He’s playful, curious, full of personality, and always looking for attention. Plus he is already potty trained!! Now that’s a big win!!

It’s one of the best parts of rescue. Watching an animal go from feeling miserable and uncomfortable to finally realizing they’re safe.

Sonny Boy still needs us, but today feels like a good day to celebrate how far he’s already come.

Thank you for cheering him on, donating toward his care, and believing in puppies like Sonny when they need it most. ❤️

EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED 🚨

Y’all, these babies need a plan right now.

They are beautiful female Great Dane mixes, probably around 4 months old, and SO sweet.

John found them on the side of the road and stopped because he couldn’t just leave them there. He was trying to do the right thing, but now his landlord won’t let them stay. He’s being put in the awful position of taking them to the shelter or risking his home.

We have no space at boarding, and they don’t deserve to end up in an overcrowded shelter after someone tried so hard to help.

Please, if you can foster until they are adopted or even just until we can figure out a plan, reach out today.

Mister George has officially been with us for 24 hours, and y’all… this little babe is something special.

He came to us from a concrete plant with eyes so swollen and painful it honestly made your stomach drop. We still don’t have every answer yet, but we do know he’s safe now, he’s being cared for, and he is already showing us that he wants to fight.

And of course, we’re going to fight right along with him.

He’s tiny, he’s pitiful, and he has a long road ahead… but he’s also warm, fed, loved, and no longer alone.

We still need the funds to keep going for him. Vet care, meds, testing, follow-ups — all of it adds up so fast, especially for babies like Mister George who come to us already hurting.

If you can donate, share, or even just send this little guy some love, it truly helps us keep saying yes.

We’ll keep updating y’all as we know more. For now, Mister George is safe… and that matters so much. ❤️

We are still trying to reach our goal of $800 to help cover Mister George’s care. Every share, donation, and kind word helps us keep fighting for this sweet little guy. ❤️

This is Jerry hugging a big ol’ boy named Handsome.

And this picture says so much about what rescue really is.

Handsome was found by a kind woman in Houston who saw him near the road and knew she couldn’t leave him there. She didn’t have a full plan yet. She just knew he deserved to be safe.

So she stopped.

She reached out to us and started the intake process, but like a lot of first-time fosters, she was nervous.

Enter Jerry.

Jerry is one of those people who shows up in every way. He fosters, drives dogs, helps around the rescue, gives shelter dogs rides to safety, and even rides his trike to exercise our boarding dogs.

For Handsome, Jerry offered to help his foster mom with appointments and exercise each week. And because of that support, she felt confident enough to say yes to fostering him instead of having to take him to an overcrowded Houston shelter.

That is rescue.

It is not one person doing everything.
It is all of us doing something.

The dogs and cats need the “we.” They need fosters, donors, drivers, volunteers, and people willing to support each other.

So here’s our challenge:

Who are you in the “we”?

Are you the foster?
The donor?
The volunteer?
The person who can help another foster feel less alone?

There is a place for you here.

We need all of us.
Save lives with us.

Y’all, we need a foster to say YES.

This sweet black Lab mama and her 3 babies are sitting in a Houston-area shelter right now, and we desperately want to get them out.

The good news? We will provide everything. Food, supplies, medical care, support... all of it.

You just need to live within 45 minutes of Friendswood, TX and be willing to open your home for a little while.

Not to be dramatic, but this family's future really depends on someone seeing this and saying, "I can help."

If that might be you, email [email protected] today.

And if you can't foster, please share. The right person might be one share away. ❤️

Even if you’re not a cat person… no one wants to see them suffering.

And honestly? A lot of us “dog people” at the rescue have slowly become cat people too. Because cats are hysterical, weird, cuddly little creatures… and the cats of Houston need someone fighting for them too.

So here we are, fighting for this tiny little innocent angel we’ve named Mister George.

He came from a concrete plant with eyes so pitiful it stops you in your tracks. A man walked into one of our partner vets begging for help because he just couldn’t stand to leave him there suffering.

We don’t fully know what all is going on yet, but we do know Mister George is safe with us now, and we’ll share more of his story soon.

For now, he needs vet care, diagnostics, medications, warmth, food, and time. Please help us give this little guy the chance he deserves. 🤍

Okay but can we talk about these faces for a second…

Harlen, Bourbon, Huey, Junior, and Vixen are all hanging out at our on-site boarding facility in Friendswood, Texas right now, just waiting for their people to find them.

They are so ready for the good stuff…...And did you know we transport? 👀

Every 2 weeks, our dogs head to the PNW, the Midwest, and the East Coast, so don’t count them out just because you’re not in Texas.

Who’s your favorite? ❤️🐾

Transport night got us again. 🥹

This sweet girl came from a cruelty case, and tonight her foster got to send her off to Salt Lake City, Utah… where a whole new life is waiting for her.

That goodbye is hard, but it’s also the best kind of hard. Because this is what fostering does. It takes a dog from “what happened to you?” to “look where you’re going.”

Please like, comment, and share our page. Truly. It helps more than you know. The more people who see these dogs, the more lives we get to change.

Safe travels, sweet girl. You did it. ❤️
