Sugar and spice and all things that are nice, That’s what little girls are made of! We are thrilled to share the news we are growing, so let the countdown begin! Baby Cheng expected October 30, 2023.

All good things must come to an end, it’s a bittersweet day as Dr. Mayfield is officially retired. Although he will not be practicing dental he will get to enjoy playing golf, travel more often and do his absolutely favorite- enjoy time with his grandkids and family. His entire staff will miss him greatly, but as he stated we are in good hands. We enjoyed lunch with him today at Vic & Anthony’s. Happy Retirement Dr. Mayfield, we love you and we will miss you!

To my most esteemed patients,

Wow, 40 years sure does go by fast! I cannot say how much I appreciate the trust that has been shown to me. It has been an honor and a privilige to care for so many kind and wonderful people. When I started, I wanted my office to be a place where my patients aren't numbers but real people that I can care about and care for. I feel like this has been my calling that God has provided for me and I hope I have treated all my patients with kindness. However, there comes a time when the torch must be passed and I will be retiring at the end of August of the year.

I am so pleased that, after extensive searching, I have found someone that I know will carry on in tradition of service, honesty, integrity and goodwill that we have tried to provide. His name is Dr. Austin Cheng. He has honorably served our country in the army for the last five years. He has had extensive training along with a General Practice Residency that has helped him to be an incredibly accomplished dentist. But, it gets better. Before I met him, he sent me ten letters of recommendation from his commanding officers, patients, and assistants he has worked with. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the letters. They decribed a compassionate, hard working dentist that always has gone the extra mile. The patients described him as painless and caring. His assistants described him as kind. I had high expectations when I met him and he exceeded them. I had multiple choices of dentist but, he was the one I chose after seeking his work and spending time with him. I believe he will prove to be someone you can trust. I trust him. I was unwillling to turn my practice over to a corporation or anyone that I could'nt respect and trust. I heartily recommend and endorse Dr. Austin Cheng, D.M.D.
