Enjoying California sunshine and probably reading under a tree. Making Motherhood easier (and more fun) with activities, hacks, recipes and more.

A modern momma on the daily and bouquets of flowers from Trader Joe's are my love language. I'm a wanna be cooking show host. You can probably find me watching Bravo TV with an iced coffee in hand. I'm a big fan of brunch with the girls and ice cream dates with my kiddos.

🍂 Building a fall wardrobe doesn’t have to mean splurging on $250 sweaters. This season, I pulled together a capsule that’s equal parts budget-friendly and on-trend. Think cozy knits, chestnut + moss tones, and romantic silhouettes you’ll actually wear on repeat. Nancy Meyers main-character energy to make a school drop-off or coffee run feel cinematic.

These are nine mix-and-match looks designed to make mornings easier and outfits feel intentional. Whether you’re heading to school drop-off, running errands, or sneaking in a golden-hour coffee date. Each piece works hard, layers well, and feels just a little more special than your everyday basics. ✨

The full capsule (with styled looks + links!) is live on Substack. So tell me, which fall piece do you reach for on repeat? Boots, sweaters, or dresses?

Summer’s still here, but the energy is shifting.
The light looks different. I’m craving routine again. A little structure. A little softness. 💕

This week, I’ve been reminded of the small things that help me feel grounded.
• Feeling sunshine in my face.
• Reading poetry in a hammock.
• Cuddling my dog.
• Eating ice cream slowly, like it’s a ritual.
• Journaling. Even just a few lines.
• Carrying coffee like it’s armor.
• And gathering with people I love.

None of it is perfect. But all of it is helping!

In this week’s Petite Pause, I’m sharing:
• A little life lately.
• What I’m reading, watching & making this weekend.
• A few cozy little things I can’t stop reaching for.

AND!!
• A behind-the-scenes voice note on what “reset” actually looks like in this season.
• A printable Season Shift Ritual Guide with simple prompts, routines, and a few soft re-entry ideas.

Tell me one little ritual that’s helping you feel more like yourself. 🌿🌼

If you are in the middle of a shift, a stretch, or a slowdown, I hope this meets you with softness. đź’Ś

Our Story

A dreamer, a maker and a doer. Danielle is inspired by the art of creating a beautiful every day. So much that she make it her mission to help others do the same in their lives.

It all started with a blog and a desire to combine all of the things she loves the most in life, in one place on the WWW. From how-to’s for setting the perfect table and custom cocktails that will leave you expecting an invite to the next gathering, to what Danielle’s wearing and the beloved “currently crushing on” roundup -just a glimpse into her online shopping cart, to wellness in their home. Blog readers know that when they are in need of a little inspiration, Danielle is just one click away! Her approachability is one of her best character traits and readers can’t get enough of her witty writing style!

When she’s not writing or creating for the blog she is photographing joyful couples who are madly in love for her wedding photography business (www.daniellewraith.com) She lives with her husband and their toddler son, (her guys) and their rescue pup, Remy in California. You can likely find Danielle and her guys in the kitchen, snacking on whatever Danielle has cooked up from Joanna Gaines latest cookbook, shopping (naturally, it’s part of the job), visiting the local zoo or farmers market, or planning their next vacay.
