Big thanks, snaps and claps to Eric Vue and Daniel Lee of HIB HIB for facilitating an improv workshop this past weekend. Our local Merced-based weavemaster, Mr. Douangta, will join us at the Merced Lao Arts & Culture Summer Camp at Merced Multicultural Arts Center - the MAC to show his collection of weaving work and how to weave your own basket.

Hello! This workshop will be taught by Eric Vue and Daniel Lee, founders of the Hmong sketch comedy troupe HIB HIB (pronounced "hee hee")

This workshop will focus on the core building block of Improv comedy, "Yes, And." Participants will go through a series of exercises that will explore concepts of agreement and collaborative creation, while having a fun time.

Improv is a great art form that emphasizes listening, teamwork and creativity. Expect to be on your feet moving, meeting new friends and laughing throughout! We're excited to share this beginner friendly workshop with everyone and hope to be your glimpse into a great new hobby!
