Today is Father's Day πŸ’™

And we know this day looks different for everyone. Some of us are celebrating. Some of us are grieving. Some of us have complicated feelings we can't quite put into words, and that's okay.

Whether you're honoring a dad, a stepdad, an adoptive father, a grandpa, or someone who just showed up for you like a dad would, today is for them. All of them.

And if you're a dad who's struggling right now, doing your best even when it's hard, we see you too.

To every person holding something heavy today: you don't have to have it all figured out. Feeling it is enough.

Swipe through and share with someone who deserves to hear it. πŸ’Œ

If your teen is struggling but doesn't need around-the-clock care, an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) may be the right next step.

An IOP provides structured mental health support several days a week while allowing teens to continue living at home, attending school, and staying connected to the people who matter most.

At Ascend, our program combines evidence-based treatment with compassionate care designed to meet teens where they are. We also keep parents and families involved throughout the process because healing is strongest when families grow together.

If you're wondering whether an IOP is the right fit for your teen, we're here to answer your questions and help you explore your options.

A shift in mindset can change everything. What if instead of asking "what if I fail," your teen started asking "what if I succeed?"

Sometimes, the right support is what makes that shift possible.

Today we're celebrating all the incredible mother figures in our lives, including the amazing moms on our Ascend team. πŸ’™ Your dedication shows up every single day in the care you give our clients and their families. The way you balance so much, with so much heart, does not go unnoticed. Thank you! πŸ’š

We also want to acknowledge that Mother's Day can be a challenging time for some. For those grieving a mother or navigating a difficult relationship, the pain and longing are just as real today as the celebrations. If you're finding this day hard, you're not alone.

Mental Health Awareness Month is here. πŸ’š

This month (and every month), check in on the people you care about. A simple "how are you really doing?" can mean everything.

And if someone you love is struggling in ways that feel bigger than what friends and family can support alone, that's what programs like ours are here for.

You don't have to figure it out alone, and neither do they.

Ascend Behavioral Health offers Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Residential Treatment programs for adolescents who need more support than traditional weekly therapy can provide. We assess your teen's needs with compassion and guide your family to the right level of care, right here in the Central Valley.

Healing looks different for every teen, sometimes weekly therapy isn't enough and that's okay. πŸ’š

At Ascend Behavioral Health, we offer structured programs that go beyond weekly therapy, providing the level of care that helps your teen truly heal.

Our levels of care include:

IOP | Intensive Outpatient β€” structured support while living at home
PHP | Partial Hospitalization β€” more intensive daily programming
RTC | Residential Treatment β€” 24/7 care in a supportive environment

We start with a compassionate assessment to understand where your teen is, and guide your family to the level of care that fits their needs.

Is residential treatment right for your teen?

If your teen is struggling with severe anxiety, depression, trauma, or behavioral challenges that make it hard for them to function day-to-day, residential treatment might be the support they need.

Here's what you need to know:

Residential care is the highest level of mental health treatment available outside of hospitalization, a 24/7 structured environment where teens can focus entirely on healing, away from daily stressors and triggers. Unlike our IOP and PHP program (where teens come home each night), residential provides round-the-clock supervision, intensive therapy, and comprehensive support in a safe space.

This level of care is for teens who:
β€’ Are in crisis
β€’ Haven't stabilized with lower levels of care
β€’ Need constant support to stay safe
β€’ Require more than weekly therapy can provide

At Ascend's residential program in Fresno, your teen will receive:
βœ“ Individual therapy
βœ“ Group therapy
βœ“ Family counseling
βœ“ Medication management (when needed)
βœ“ Academic support
βœ“ Personalized treatment plans

Most teens stay 30-90 days, with the goal of stabilizing symptoms, building coping skills, and preparing for a successful transition back home.

Wondering if residential treatment is right for your family? Call us at (559) 550-3978 or visit ascendbh.com/residential-inpatient-treatment
