Golden State Hops
When it comes to craft beer and home brewing, we’ve got the best hops the Golden State has to offer. Need hops for your brew?
Farmed in Fresno, California, we’re pretty excited to bring fresh, dried and pelleted hops to local brewers. After our hops have been harvested, they go through a content analysis before they are stored in our onsite forced air cold storage facility. To protect the alpha and beta resins, we have pre-cooling at our harvest sites and refrigerated transport. Hops from the 2017 harvest are still available. Send us a message for more information

This is 2019 Chinook. These hops were grown right here in the Central Valley, Fresno! They were harvested and processed last week, with an alpha acid of 13.3 and beta of 2.8. Last year they were reviewed and taste tested. Aroma characteristics were tropical fruit, apple/pear and stone fruit. Pungency was mild to medium. I would expect this seasons crop to be more robust due to a more mature plant. The overall experience of this Chinook was unexpected and incredibly pleasant! If you would like to give them a try you can order online at goldenstatehop.com or contact me directly. Thank you to Marshall for the help.
Make sure to check out ABC 30 news for an inside look at Golden State Hops! Cheers 🍻
