I picked this tip up from a fellow frequent traveler! 📷It just takes a second to take a photo and store it on your phone so why not do it?? 🛂If you lose your passport in another country, an application with a barcode can speed up the processing time, reducing the amount of time spent at the consulate or embassy to get you a replacement. ✨USEFUL TIPS✨ ⭐️This is in addition to snapping a photo of your photo/detail page at the front of your passport ⭐️Email a copy to yourself so you can access it from anywhere, even if your phone is lost or stolen ⭐️I like to keep a copy in my iPhone notes (linked to my cloud), in a locked note that needs an additional passcode to access ⚠️Keep in mind every consulate/embassy is different.
