The insurance industry has been hit quite hard in the past few years (read article). They are tightening their underwriting requirements in an effort to stem the amount of losses they have seen in the recent past.

**With that being said I urge you to be up-to-date on your payments and not let your policy lapse/cancel. Once it's cancelled I may not be able to rewrite it at all.

**Some companies are making it extremely difficult to even write new business and others are not making any exceptions when things are in a gray area.

**Try to avoid claims (make necessary repairs to avoid a claim) and violations (watch your speed and drive extra careful!). These will be red flags and good cause to cancel your policy.

I have never seen anything like this in over 30 years as an agent. Buckle up! We're in for quite a ride!🚙
