🚨New Service Alert 🚨
A few weeks ago, we shared that several of our clinicians were participating in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) training. We’re excited to announce that Lotus Behavioral Health now has clinicians trained in this evidence-based model and ready to begin serving families in our community.
CPP helps strengthen the caregiver-child relationship while supporting young children who have experienced trauma, attachment disruptions, behavioral challenges, anxiety, grief, and other emotional difficulties. If you know a family who may benefit from CPP, we are now accepting referrals!

Not every hard moment needs a silver lining. Toxic positivity can make people feel unseen, guilty, or ashamed for having normal human emotions. Healing starts when we allow space for honesty, grief, frustration, and struggle too. 💛

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. 🇺🇸
Their courage, selflessness, and dedication will never be forgotten. We are deeply thankful for those who gave their lives in service and for the families who carry that sacrifice every day.
As we spend time with loved ones this Memorial Day weekend, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude for the freedoms we are able to enjoy because of them. ❤️🤍💙

As we wrap up Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to take a moment to recognize the strength it takes to ask for help, speak up, set boundaries, heal, and keep showing up - especially on the hard days.
Mental health journeys do not always look the same, and progress is not always loud. Sometimes progress looks like resting. Sometimes it looks like trying again tomorrow. Sometimes it simply looks like making it through the day.
Thank you for helping create a world where conversations about mental health continue to become more open, compassionate, and supported. Let’s continue checking in, supporting one another, and making mental wellness a priority all year long. 💚

☀️ School is wrapping up, backpacks are getting emptied, routines are changing, and summer adventures are right around the corner!
For some, summer means vacations and pool days. For others, it means slowing down, making memories, trying new things, or simply enjoying a little extra sunshine. 🌻
No matter what your summer looks like, we hope it brings moments of joy, connection, and rest.
💛 How do you plan to enjoy your summer?

We are so proud to share that our owner, Katlyn Osborn, was invited to attend a women’s leadership summit featuring powerhouse speakers Kirsten Booth and Dani Busboom-Kelly.
It was an inspiring day filled with meaningful conversations about leadership, culture, transparency, relationships, and the legacy women create in business and in their communities.
We’re grateful for experiences like this that strengthen our vision and remind us of the impact women leaders can make.

We are excited to highlight three of our clinicians - Madison, Kathy, and Bailey - as they participate in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) training!
With their existing clinical knowledge, experience, and dedication to trauma-informed care, we know they will be incredible providers of this model for the children and families in our community. Their commitment to continued education reflects the passion they have for helping families build connection, safety, healing, and resilience together.
We are proud to continue expanding specialized services and investing in approaches that support healthy parent-child relationships and long-term emotional wellbeing.

Motherhood is beautiful… and exhausting.
It’s loving deeply while running on empty.
It’s carrying the mental load, showing up anyway, and wondering if you’re doing enough.
This is your reminder:
Your children do not need a perfect mother.
They need a loved, supported, emotionally safe one.
To the moms surviving, healing, growing, breaking cycles, and still making lunches and bedtime happen, you are doing meaningful work every single day. 🤍
Happy Mother’s Day to every kind of mother:
the grieving moms, stepmoms, foster moms, single moms, bonus moms, hopeful moms, exhausted moms, and the moms doing their absolute best today.
You matter too. 🌸

Today our leadership team is participating in Restoring Resiliency Response (RRR) training to further strengthen our ability to support Nebraska Child and Family Services staff following exposure to trauma in the field.
The work of CFS professionals is often unseen, but it is deeply felt. Day after day, they step into complex, emotionally charged, and high-stakes situations to protect and support children and families across our communities. The weight of both primary and secondary trauma can be significant, and we hold deep respect for the emotional labor this work requires.
We are grateful for the opportunity to learn how to better show up for those who show up for others. Our commitment is to ensure staff feel seen, supported, and restored as they continue doing some of the most important and difficult work in our state.
To every frontline worker: thank you. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.
