Did you know that Compass Made was born out of our parent company Compass Components?

Compass Components was founded on distribution and the assembling of actual product lines, such as raw connectors, resistors, and passive electromechanical components. One day a customer asked us, "Hey, can you put a wire on this connector?" and Compass manufacturing was born.

Born and raised in Deming, Michael Poudrier is a committed father, avid hiker, and Zuken specialist. With his commitment to innovation and improvement, Michael has quickly risen from Cutting Machine Operator to Engineering Supervisor. Here is his story: http://ow.ly/eDVP50vCB7k

The folks from our Deming plant in New Mexico are gearing up for the Great American Duck Race this upcoming weekend - a day of food, arts and crafts, live music, and of course, live duck racing! Good luck to our team members who are competing.

Who else will be there?

Compass Made is in the midst of our annual Backpack Drive at our Fremont facility. We fill packs with binders, pencils, pens, paper, and other supplies to support students in our area who are going back to school. It's one of our favorite ways to wrap up the summer and give back to our community.

Elizabeth Brill brings so much to our Compass family beyond her responsibilities as the Senior Inside Sales Supervisor for Compass Components.
