I've casually been watching Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi on Hulu. The series showcases many different cultures and how they have rooted themselves in America through sharing their food.

As I watched, I couldn't help but constantly think of all the amazing clients that have come through BAKR's doors. How each client has blessed us with flavors from different countries and cultures--Korean, Indian, Iranian, Mexican, American, Japanese, Filipino, Hawaiian, Southern, Italian, European, and so many others as well.

They are living their own American Dream and being American means being able to build the life they want for themselves and their families while still also retaining their own cultural identity.

I have met such amazing people and am thankful for the blessing of getting to know them through their food and see them be able to live their dreams.

The cultural diversity I see at BAKR is the world I love to live in.

Road repairs but the food doesn't stop. The caterers are walking all their food orders out by foot since they can't bring in cars to load for their deliveries. Trucks have been here since 5am moving their vehicles before the construction started. All my clients are grindin' today!

There is no better feeling than when you are doing a tour and they say repeatedly that they really like the facility. =)

As a business owner whose business is heavily involved with food and since I enjoy cooking, it's no surprise that I've started teaching my son how to cook. And since my husband likes to edit videos, we naturally got my son excited about having a cooking show! Enjoy! More videos eventually to come.

(Btw...still working on proper food safety etiquette with the little one 😂)

BAKR Holiday Lunch today! Was catered by a couple of our awesome clients: Customized Catering and Argentine Flavors (owners in the first pic). Food was absolutely delicious and it was nice having members and staff drop in to say hi, grab a bite, and chat. Such an honor to do business with such amazing people :)

Didn't get to do a fancy Thanksgiving post but was blessed today with a shining example of why I'm so thankful for this business and the wonderful people who come through these doors so this was a fitting post. A new client was dropping off a refrigerator for her business and it was quite a task to unload it and set it in place--but MULTIPLE fellow clients volunteered their time and muscle to make the task easier. It was a beautiful moment and witnessing it was so nice, it makes me wanna cry. I love all these kind people! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you all. 💜
