Last Wednesday, we kicked off the first class in our 3-part sewing series! 🧵
In this beginner-friendly class, students learned all the sewing essentials - from common sewing terms & machine basics to threading the machine, winding a bobbin & more. But the fun didn't stop there! Everyone completed their very first project: a beautiful lavender sachet to take home. 🩵
Today is Class #2, where they'll be putting their new skills to work & starting their very own pillow cover!

Everyone say hi to Sienna! 👋 A junior at Fremont Ross who has been such a joy to have in the studio!
In the past month, she’s finished two beautiful pieces - a quilt and a duffel bag, and I couldn’t be more impressed! 🤩 From watching her thoughtfully pick her own fabrics to bringing her ideas to life, Sienna’s creativity has been so fun to witness.
Moments like this are exactly why I love teaching. Watching Sienna bring her own personality into her work and seeing how proud she is of what she’s made is so special. Way to go, Sienna!! 🩵

From learning by my grandma’s side to building a studio filled with creativity & connection... this is more than sewing, it’s a story that’s been stitched together over time! 🧵
What started with a love for creating has turned into a space where kids can learn, grow & feel proud of what they make. I am so thankful to be a small part of their journey! 🩵

A couple sweet mother-daughter moments from class lately!🩵
These two duos spent time in class learning new sewing skills & cheering each other on every step of the way. One pair completed their very first project - a drawstring bag, while the other stitched up cozy pajama pants!
It was so fun having them in the studio!🪡
This past Friday, 8 ladies joined together for a creative night. 🪡
We spent the evening learning how to make a pouch, taking our time, asking questions, and creating something by hand!
I’m very thankful for everyone who showed up, trusted me, and made the night feel so welcoming. 🩵Keep an eye out for the next one!😉
