I’m pretty sure that our chickens are feeling this today!

If you are looking for a cute decoration for your home or a gift for someone, you should come check out the Christmas trees that my girls made to support their sponsor child. They are hoping to sell 6 more trees to cover the fees for the year. The trees are $25 each.

I was out in the garden this morning and my waterline connection broke. I called in Chris to come fix it and look at what he found. The littles were so excited to see it!

It was spa day for the minis. Hannah and I brushed them to try and get their winter coat off and braided their hair. Penny looks like a unicorn with the bubble braid on her forelock.

A lot of patience and hard work has paid off!! We have been collecting second hand wooden posts and all of the materials needed to put in a large pasture for our large animals. Chris hand dug every post and yesterday we put up the electrical fence strands, two gates, and tied everything into the energizier. It took a lot of YouTube videos and diagrams, but our happy animals made it all worth it! Chris and I are excited about not having to buy hay until winter!!!

Spring has sprung at the farm!!! The chickens are out on fresh grass, the seedlings are growing, the fruit trees are waking up, and the animals are getting ready to go out on pasture.

We (Chris) have a couple more posts to put in the ground and then we will install the electrobraid fencing so that we can rotationally graze our animals. This will help improve our soil, pasture, reduce the amount of hay needed, and make for some happy animals.
