Don't fret we didnt forget about the kitty gotcha days either. I have not personally tried this recipe yet, but I will for our cat's upcoming birthday.

Be sure to make your mashed potatoes from scratch so it doesn't include any harmful ingredients like garlic.

Celebrate gotcha day with your pups with a dog safe cake or cupcakes. My dogs gobble this recipe up. Blueberries are a tasty treat to put on top of the cake.

The frosting is also a quick and easy treat to help your pups take pills.

Don't forget to give your pets their monthly heartworm medication. It is especially important to do in the summer, but heartworm can be transmitted year round.

Welcome to the Dog Days (whew!) of summer!

Meet Callie a beautiful adult female calico cat! She is a little camera shy and her photos do not do her justice.

Callie-DSH Calico female, ~ 2-4 yr.

Callie was found as a stray on the street and ended up going home with a kind hearted woman for safety while we look for a home for her. She is a dignified calm easy girl who is going with the flow, while we find her a home. Her foster mom says she's a very sweet and trusting, although feels Callie would be most happy in a home as an only pet.

The adoption fee is $150, to help cover the medical costs and food costs prior to adoption.

For our application, please email Elaine at [email protected] Include your location and a phone number for future communication.

Meet Palmer an adult 3 year old Lab & Terrier Mix (Nov 2022). He is a fixed male that is up to date on all his vaccines.

Palmer is a nice medium sized dog with a lot of personality. He's an active dog, who needs an experienced owner/family with an active lifestyle to keep him mentally and physically challenged. A home without small children and cats would be best. He may be too exuberant for them. Palmer gets along well with other dogs.

His adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.

The first step in our process is to submit an application for review. Once approved, we will contact you to arrange a meeting at our next Meet and Greet event.

To adopt Palmer please contact [email protected] for an application. Include your location and a phone number in the email.
Our pets are fostered in private homes and will be brought to Frederick, MD to meet approved adopters.
PLEASE ALLOW 24-48 HOURS FOR A RESPONSE.

Cool idea! If you aren't comfortable with the heater coil you can use straw instead. Never use towels or blankets
