On May 13, USAMMC-K conducted a comprehensive Summer Safety Stand-Down. Our training focused on seasonal risk mitigation and workplace safety to ensure every team member stays protected.

We are proud to announce the promotion of SGT Sanchez (68A) at the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center-Europe (USAMMC-E). SGT Sanchez has consistently proven himself to be a trusted mentor and a standard-bearer for his peers, demonstrating both exceptional leadership and technical proficiency in medical maintenance.

The command was honored to recognize this milestone alongside his spouse. As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist, SGT Sanchez plays a critical role in ensuring our medical equipment is mission-ready across the theater.

⭐ Meet our MEDLOG All-Star, Christopher Karel! ⭐

Christopher is the site manager for our Forward Repair Activity-Medical (FRA-M) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. With 16 years of dedicated service under his belt, he leads the charge in supporting units at Campbell and surrounding states.

From overseeing daily operations to mentoring the Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs) who come through his door, Christopher is a true force multiplier. He says the best part of his job is the daily interaction and knowledge-sharing with fellow BMETs.

When he’s not at the FRA-M, you can find him working on his hobby farm with his chickens and ducks, gardening, or restoring his 100-year-old house!

Thank you, Christopher, for your leadership and commitment to the mission!
