The Frederick Institute is located in the city of Frederick, Maryland. The thought of entering into treatment can be intimidating and overwhelming.
Frederick Institute is an outpatient methadone and buprenorphine (Suboxone) clinic focused on providing client centered treatment for those with the disease of opiate addiction. We have been serving the needs of the community since 1998 and are at the forefront of opiate addiction treatment in the Frederick Community. Today I ended my career at Frederick Institute after 18 years. I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many amazing people and helped/seen them completely change their lives through treatment. I’ve also been fortunate to work with some of the most dedicated individuals I know including Jodi Lynn Jodi Bowman Morgan Adam Fogle Natalie Amorati Petersen Jess Sheridan Pamela Collins Brittany Bell Brian Prichard and others. On Monday I’ll start my next chapter working for Concerted Care Group.

An update on Frederick County. It is important to continue to practice social distancing and staying home as much as possible. Frederick Institute continues to stay open 6 days a week for dosing and is completing admissions Mon-Fri.
Frederick County deemed hot zone for COVID-19 Frederick County is one of 12 counties considered a hot zone in Maryland, Gov. Larry Hogan announced Tuesday afternoon.
Governor Hogan spoke today at a press conference. The Governor stated "No Marylander shall be leaving their home unless it is for an essential job or an essential reason such as obtaining food or medicine, seeking urgent medical attention or for other necessary purposes." Please rest assured that Frederick Institute will continue to remain OPEN as we are an ESSENTIAL BUSINESS!!!
Frederick Institute counselors will begin reaching out to all clients of Frederick Institute TODAY to start "Audio Telehealth". Staff will be calling clients utilizing Google Voice. Please ensure you have a working phone number with the clinic.
Governor Hogan spoke today about non-essential businesses closing after 5pm today and remaining closed until further notice. Please rest assured Frederick Institute is an ESSENTIAL business and will not be closing. Dosing hours remain Mon-Fri 5:30am-10am and Sat 7am-10am. Admissions are still being completed daily. There is still a limit of 5 clients in the building at a time and anyone showing symptoms of Coronavirus should call into the clinic and not come into the building.
