Over the past decade, I've pondered a burning question: why is there so much anger, especially among men? We talk about it endlessly, yet somehow, it feels like we're barely scratching the surface. That's why I wrote "This Kind of Man."

In this book, I look deeply at the complicated, tender, and wild truth of what it means to be a man today. These stories explore the pressures and tensions of contemporary life, and how men navigate them, often without success.

Having written a lot of political commentary, I wanted to creatively interrogate the sociopolitical state of 21st-century America: these stories are urgent, personal, and in some instances inspired directly by breaking news. My hope is to instigate some positive dialogue, and create new stories, turning art into life.

You just can't go wrong with a clean black and white color scheme for headshots--it feels both modern and timeless at the same time. Doesn't hurt when you have such a beautiful model to work with either--what a fun photoshoot!❤️
