How much more could your horse give you if you truly understood how to use their body?

The Mechanics of Movement is designed to help riders develop a deeper understanding of how the horse moves and how to influence that movement with precision—not force. By learning to control the rib cage, shoulders, and hips, riders will build better communication with their horses, resulting in improved collection, consistency, impulsion, and overall body control.

But why does that matter?

Instead of constantly correcting your horse, you’ll learn how to prepare your horse to make the correct answer the easy answer.

This clinic is perfect for riders looking to get more out of every ride while asking less of their horse physically.

Clinic Sessions

🕙 Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
🕒 Afternoon Session: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Each session is limited to 4–5 horse and rider pairs, ensuring every participant receives individualized coaching.

💲 $250 per horse & rider pair
Horse Rentals Available!

Want to take your learning even further? One-hour private lessons are available before, between, and after the clinic for $75 per hour, allowing you to apply the day’s concepts specifically to you and your horse.

This clinic is ideal for:

✔️ Advanced beginner through intermediate riders
✔️ Riders confidently walking, trotting, and cantering independently
✔️ Green horses needing a stronger foundation
✔️ Riders wanting to improve communication, softness, and consistency

Open to all disciplines. While demonstrations will primarily utilize Ranch Riding and Western Pleasure maneuvers, the principles taught apply to every riding discipline.

🐴 Day stalls available – $15
🚛 Complimentary trailer parking
🌧 Rain or shine! We have both indoor and outdoor riding facilities.
⛑ Helmets are required for all riders under 18 years of age.
👨‍👩‍👧 Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
📄 A current negative Coggins is required at the time of booking.
💵 A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot.
🪢 Please bring one to two bridles so Lindsay can help determine the best option for your horse throughout the clinic.

With only 4–5 riders per session, availability is extremely limited. We look forward to helping you build a horse that is softer, more responsive, and more confident—one that is truly prepared for whatever discipline you choose to pursue.

We just finished putting together two raffle baskets, and all proceeds will help fund our FREE Halloween event later this year. 🎃👻

A few reminders before you visit the farm:

🐴 We are an active, working horse farm. Please drive slowly up the driveway and be prepared for uneven terrain, grass, gravel, mud, bugs, sunshine, and all the fun that comes with farm life.

🐾 Pets are welcome as long as they remain leashed at all times.

🛍️ Please help us welcome two new vendors to the event: I C Crafts and Hopzingers

🌮 We will have two food trucks joining us:
• Caribbean/Cajun cuisine
• American/Asian cuisine
Lin Hang Calypso N' Roux

🍧Royal Ice Snow Cones & Treats will also be joining us with snow cones and sweet treats.

🐎 River is officially over one month old and will be enjoying life out in the fields.

⚠️ Please do not feed the horses. Many of our horses are in training or on specialized diets. While your intentions may be kind, outside food can make them very sick and, in some cases, be life-threatening.

🚫 Please do not enter behind any fencing or into restricted areas.

We cannot wait to welcome everyone to the farm for a day filled with shopping, food, horses, and community.
