What a beautiful December wedding celebrating high school sweethearts, Becca and Nate! It was such a wonderful two days, between the rehearsal and wedding ceremony, because there were many familiar faces — it was a mini high school reunion for some of us!

It is always such a gift to be a small part of a wedding ceremony…I almost have to pinch myself to realize that I get to serve people is such an intimate and unique way. 🌲🤍💍

What a beautiful fall wedding at the historic Ritchie Chapel in Fort Ritchie, MD! This wedding was more than just a gathering to celebrate love…it was a sweet “reunion” of beloved friends from all across the globe, some of which never met the couple in person until the rehearsal or wedding day. 💒🌎

This beautiful day was rounded out by so many special “moments” — not only did the couple get to customize their ceremony with words of how they met, but they had a friend share a poem that she wrote almost 10 years ago for the bride. Getting to connect with many of the family members and friends was such an added gift to day. 💍

I’ve had the opportunity to share this analogy twice this week with two different teams — it’s a wonderful self-development tool for visual learners. 🔬

Essentially, your beliefs about yourself inspire the things that you value, which empower your actions and produce results.

If you believe trust is important in relationship, it’s likely that you value reliability and authentic connection with others. If you value reliability and connection with others, it’s likely your actions will look like an open door policy, timeliness in responses to emails, etc., which will inevitably result in trusted relationships.

Simply, our beliefs should connect with our values, and actions, and when they are in alignment with who we are, people will see results (fruit).

A self-reflection for you — do people enjoy your fruit? 🍎

Skills expand your presence in width but purpose expands your presence in depth. 🔑
