I promised my sister if she visited me while I was living abroad she would have a trip to remember and I DELIVERED!
We arrived in Paris via train; it was a dream come true. Young, cute and so naive the Gypsy pickpockets spotted us immediately! Could have been the skipping and linked arms that alerted them. Could have been the singing?

My purse was perfectly organised, wallet easily accessible, passport in the passport pocket, etc. Thank goodness my 21 year old sister was not near as mature and organised as me and they left her alone.

Due to an unexpected lack of funds our trip was cut short but we did manage to spend the night in a beautiful “French” hotel. It was 1980 and I don’t think I even knew what Luxe was until I saw that!

The pictures? Oh, our client requested a french hotel / luxe vibe for her bedroom - I said, yep I can do that !
