Ahmaud Arbery's killers get life sentences; no possibility of parole for Travis and Gregory McMichael The judge sentenced Travis and Gregory McMichael to life without parole, and William "Roddie" Bryan to life with a possibility of parole.

This video was shared by thousands with no cover or warning by Facebook. “There was nothing to be left to the imagination or speculation…it was all right there in front of me…”To finally see some movement in this case and a guilty verdict is a positive thing. This country still has so much work to do but every young person who doll vividly remembers that video as if they were there, will sleep a little easier tonight. 3 white men are found guilty of murder in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery Travis McMichael; his father, Greg; and their neighbor William "Roddie" Bryan all faced nine criminal counts in Georgia state court, including felony murder, aggravated assault and false imprisonment.

This is America where we allow white boys to get to carry an illegal firearm to use after crossing state lines. He killed two people after putting himself in a position he was not ready to handle. You don’t go to a protest with a loaded weapon, a bullet proof vest and a gang of peers just for sh*ts and giggles. His crocodile tears he shed in court were because his future was on the line…not because he was innocent. This is exactly why marches will continue and actions will still occur to invoke change! If he was black and had done the same in the middle of a proud boys rally the outcome would be different.

I have many questions when it comes to this case but my first one goes to the all lives matter group. You know the group that started as a way to silence the cries of the black community? All Lives Matter: Why are you silent?? Why no outrage? This is just one story but we have seen this time and time again. If all lives truly mattered to those in that movement they should be outraged right??? Personally I’m pi**ed that an SRO even had a gun to pull out let alone decided to shoot close range into a moving vehicle. I’m pi**ed that with each time the news outlets gets a hold of a story involving any minority it gets increasingly worse each time the story is told. I’m mad the SRO is on paid leave for shooting someone in the head who was actively leaving and ultimately taking their lives. While the 18 year old knew better then to fight at any school, it was not the job of the SRO to play judge, jury and executioner! But watch, “I was scared for my life and thought she was going to hit me.” Will be the next headline for this story.

All minority groups: the longer you allow the powers that be to continue to separate you from the next minority group, they will always win. Come together and take a stand. Go to events for every minority group and not just one you benefit from. Show your support for one another.
