Heidi Keeney and Kari Saavedra, Frederick County's 275th Anniversary Planning Committee Co-Chairs and dedicated Frederick County Government employees, used their Voices to make the year-long celebration a success.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Frederick County 275th Anniversary closing ceremony at Rose Hill Manor and stayed keyed in with events throughout the year!
Each month in 2023, we are highlighting Voices from our community who are helping make Frederick County, MD a place truly worth celebrating in several KEY categories featured in our Commemorative Book, like Education, History, and more! Ann Miller, Chief of Operations and Chief Financial Officer of Maryland School for the Deaf is using her voice to share the fascinating history of the school.
Join us for Frederick County's 275th Anniversary Closing Ceremony this Saturday, December 9th at Rose Hill Manor Park following Museums by Candlelight 2023! The ceremony will kick off with a performance by Mike Kuster followed by remarks from County Executive Jessica Fitzwater, a look back at the yearlong celebration, and the ringing of the bells by the Frederick Community College Handbell Choir. Participants from the Voices of Frederick County Video Series will also be in attendance for a meet & greet.

Commemorative 275th Anniversary Ornaments are now on display in Wi******er Hall! Join us for our closing celebration at Museums by Candlelight 2023 and grab a FREE Commemorative 275th Anniversary Ornament & Book at select sites while supplies last. The event will feature more than 25 museums, historic sites, and organizations on Saturday, December 9th. It will conclude with a special ceremony at Rose Hill Manor at 7:30PM.
