The FHS-PTSA promotes the welfare of students. Attend monthly meetings to stay updated with school related information. Make your voices heard.
We endeavor to develop a united effort between staff, students and families the highest advantages in physical, mental and social education. Membership is $10/year. You do not have to be a member to attend meetings. Membership is necessary to vote.

🚨 Crestwood Redistricting Study Update 🚨
The community is invited to attend redistricting study-meetings for the Crestwood area in anticipation of a planned addition to Crestwood Middle School that will add 318 seats.
Meeting dates:
⭐️Thursday, May 11, at 6:30 p.m. at Crestwood Middle
⭐️Monday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m. at Waverley Elementary
⭐️Monday, May 22, at 6:30 p.m. at Monocacy Middle

Please join us for our next PTSA meeting on Tuesday, April 18 at 6pm. Our virtual meeting will be held on Google Meets and will feature a presentation on mental health focused on highschool students.
Presenters: Frederick County Mental Health Association (MHA) and FCPS's Community Agency School Services.
Topics include:
1) how to differentiate between good and bad stress;
2) particular stressors relevant to teens and their parents;
3) how to identify when someone is struggling;
4) and how to access services.
We encourage you to join us and invite friends!

Please help support the Dollars for Scholars Scholarship. Any amount is appreciated!
Scholarship recipients are selected by the FHS counseling team. Scholarships are awarded to hard-working students who are planning to go to college or trade school, who demonstrate financial need, and have contributed to the FHS community.
The application window starts in early April. Scholarships will be awarded at the Senior Awards Ceremony.
The PTSA needs to raise funds in order to award these very special scholarships! Please consider donating to the cause. Donations can be made by check made payable to FHS PTSA with "Dollars for Scholars" written in the subject line or through https:// fspta-00020941.memberhub.com/store
