It just occurred to me I never posted a picture of my wedding cake! A desert bar was also a part out celebration 💕

How long will it take???? I can bake 31 dozen mini cupcakes at a time, using three of my four ovens. The real challenge will be to keep up a good groove of making batter, filling cupcake papers, and taking cupcakes out of the oven. Theoretically, I should have 2.75(ish) turn arounds, using all 31 cupcake tins if all goes according to plan. We shall see!!!!!

Sweet 16 Cake!

I'm a bit tardy in posting Kailey and Patrick's wedding cake and cookie table pictures. They were married on September 25, 2016. I'm probably biased, but it was a beautiful wedding. I'm not sure if the photographer's logo will show up on their pictures now that I have downloaded them. I want to be sure to mention Noble Photo. They were absolutely amazing!! Some of the photos are mine. I'm sure you will be able to tell the difference!! LOL
I learned how to make boutonnieres, bridesmaid bouquets and so much more in preparing for their wedding. The cookies and cake were the easy part!

Please bear with me friends! I am trying to update my TracyCakes page with pictures from the dessert bar and my daughter and son-law's wedding. I'm using the photographer's pictures and I think I will have to post them individually and then create an album. Their photographer was AMAZING! Can't wait for you to see!!!

My friend Jennifer asked me to make a birthday cake for her daughter, Sarah. Sarah's birthday is in late November and Jennifer said Sarah wanted a turkey cake. When I started to ask questions about feathers, design etc., Jennifer said, "Talk to Sarah to get all the details. She knows exactly what she wants." Jennifer and I thought we had a pretty good design for a turkey at this point. After school, I talked with Sarah. When Sarah said, "No, I don't want that kind of turkey. I want the dead kind. The one one we eat on the table!" it was clear that Jennifer and I had missed on the whole concept Sarah had in mind! Here is what she had in mind!!! Love you Sarah!

This 4 tier wedding cake was a fondant cake with original gumpaste flowers in a purple ombre design and accented in gold sugar pearls. The bride was delighted with the flavors she chose! Chocolate cake with raspberry filling, cookies and cream cake with cookies and cream buttercream filling, and vanilla cake with strawberry filling. The cake table at the venue was in front of a window so the lighting was terrible

Cupcake towers have become as popular for weddings as traditional cakes! Champagne Raspberry, Chocolate and Vanilla cupcakes for a beautiful wedding in Franklin. The raspberries at the market were incredible this week, adding the perfect garnish for this scrumptious cupcake! Sugar pearls, top hats and bowties added a touch of whimsy to this dessert table.
