Thank you again to everyone who attended our Design Charrette. Your valuable opinions and brilliant ideas are going to transform this farm and make the Short family proud.

Developer, Brian Wright, told WKRN, "Having people being able to be co-authors of this vision and of this plan for the future with us and with the family, it does something different."

More than 200 neighbors have attended our Design Charrette over the last six days, and we couldn't be more grateful for the ideas, questions and support we've received through the process. Thank you!

Informed by that valuable feedback, our team of artists, architects, engineers and planners has spent the days developing a conceptual plan from the ground up. Tonight, we're going to unveil it!

Please join us at 6 p.m. in the gymnasium at Franklin Christian Academy, located at 818 Old Charlotte Pike East, just off of Mack Hatcher Parkway adjacent to the Short Farm.

The event is free and open to the public. Bring your friends and neighbors! We will look forward to seeing you there.

Developers announce community meeting for Franklin mixed-use agri-hood 04/26/2023

Here’s what Brian Wright of Town Planning & Urban Design Collaborative, LLC had to say about the upcoming Short Farm Design Charrette for Nashville Business Journal.

“This is a multi-day event, we’re setting up public areas and inviting everyone, before we put pen to paper, asking people what they think, what’s missing, what they’re worried it will become. This is the best chance to influence what happens here, and for people who might live here, imagine how cool it will be to end up living in a neighborhood you got to help plan.”

We can’t wait to get started tomorrow! Learn more and get the full event schedule at the link below.
