received her training at Emperor's College of Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica CA, and at the 2nd Affiliated Hospital in Nanjing, China. She is native Colombian, fluent in Spanish and English. Married since 1997, Andrea and her husband, both business owners, decided to start a family in their 40's and were able to do so naturally through Chinese Medicine. I love Haven! I was part of a moms Bible study group who literally kept having babies, 29 and counting from Sept to May and most of them were patients of Haven Birth and Wellness. I kept hearing about them everywhere and was told I needed to meet them. Being new in town with an old practice, in a new city, I was a little shy. I finally made a stop at Herban market and picked up some herbal tea, marched on over to their suit to say Hello but my shyness got the best of me and I kinda rapidly said hello, this is who I am, here my cards bye. Lol.
Few or several months later a sweet lady close to my age was on my books. We had great Godly conversations and I enjoyed meeting her. Well little did I know that she was the owner of Haven. We got to chatting and she was so lovely to have me interview with Haven's writers to share about Fertility and Acupuncture as well as Acupuncture during pregnancy. Before moving on to the next set of points that can help you during chemo treatments here is a reminder of the points we used so far for digestive distress. Remember to press them for a min up to 5 min each.
PC6: Cardiac pain, palpitation, stuffy chest, pain in the hypochondriac region, stomachache, nausea, vomiting, hiccup, mental disorders, epilepsy, insomnia, febrile diseases, irritability, malaria, contracture and pain of the elbow and arm.
SP4: (specially for women) Gastric pain, vomiting, abdominal pain, abdominal distention, diarrhea, dysentery, borborygmus, good for the uterus.
St37: Abdominal pain and distention, borborygmus, diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, enteritis, paralysis due to stroke, beriberi. I used this point for constipation with great success.

After watching Alex Clark's podcast with The Worm Queen and having so many of my patient's doing parasite cleanses, I decided to give it a go. I usually steer away from the parasites talk when It comes to me b/c I had a unpleasant experience as a child that involved round worms and till this day I get sweaty and grossed out when I see even an earth worm.
