We are a community for self-directed learning. We believe in children being free and learning at their own pace. Our members are registered homeschoolers.
Macomber Center is a self-directed education community for children of all ages who are growing and learning without conventional schooling. The Center is open from 9am to 5pm, 5 days a week and follows the academic year calendar. We have part-time and full-time membership options. Our members are free to follow their curiosity and pursue their interests within a rich and vibrant age-mixed community, and with the support of knowledgeable, helpful adults.
