Study of Community Outcomes from PFAS Exposure This study is part of a nation-wide study funded by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry.

Communities in Fountain Valley were exposed to per and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in their drinking water as a result of fire-fighting foam use at a nearby air force base. The CO SCOPE team hopes to determine how exposure to these chemicals may be impacting health of residents who drank contaminated water.
