✨Excited to announce that we are the new owners of Steam Coffee & Cream! ☕️

No one spends more time in coffee shops than Realtors, so we figured it was time to make it official and own one ourselves.

This opportunity is especially meaningful to me because I grew up in the Simpsonville/Fountain Inn area and have had the privilege of watching this community grow and thrive over the years. Now, we get to be a small part of that growth, and we’re incredibly grateful.

A huge thank you to Erica and Chris for everything they’ve built at this special location. Creating a successful small business is no easy task, and we’re honored they’ve entrusted us with its next chapter. Our goal is to carry on the legacy and everything people have come to love about Steam.

This beloved shop is simply being passed from one mom-and-pop family to another.

Over the coming months, you’ll see some exciting additions. We’re making it a priority to partner with and support other local businesses by sourcing more local products whenever possible. We’ll also be expanding our ice cream offerings, creating additional job opportunities, and continuing to invest in making Steam a place our community loves to gather.

That said, the things you’ve grown to know and love aren’t going anywhere. The warm welcomes, delicious coffee, and friendly faces will remain at the heart of everything we do.

And for those wondering, real estate isn’t going anywhere. Helping people buy and sell homes will always be our passion. We’ll just be working from a new coffee shop now. ☕️🏡

So if you need to buy a house, grab a latte, or both, we’ve got you covered.

Bear with us as we make a few upgrades and put our own touch on things over the coming weeks. We can’t wait to share what’s ahead.

Thank you Fountain Inn for allowing us the pleasure of serving up coffee, croissants, and community since June 2020.

We are excited to be passing along this business to new owners who will continue to make this a special space.

We are open today from 7-4 and then officially passing the baton tomorrow morning! The shop will be closed tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.

It has been such a privilege for us to steward this space for the past 6 years and meet so many lovely people! This father and daughter (they are not the new owners, but just some of our most loyal patrons) has been coming almost every Saturday morning to enjoy coffee and breakfast together for THREE years. It has been an absolute joy to watch them together and see her grow up into such a delightful toddler.

We will miss these moments but look forward to seeing what memories the space will foster in the future!

At the top of our “reasons why” we bought Steam 6 years ago was to be involved in the community alongside amazing organizations like FIKE Center (Fountain Inn Kids Enrichment). These kids and their teachers are amazing and we cherished (and may have shed a few tears) their visit and songs with us yesterday.

It is with some sadness and some excitement to announce that Steam will be changing ownership later next week! We (the Williams family) are sad to be leaving this wonderful community, but excited for the new ownership who are wonderful to be bringing in some new fun things and joining in on the Main Street/downtown life! We have truly enjoyed our time growing with this community and rest assured this special space will be in good hands. ☕️ ❤️ ⛲️
