Just an update on how green the Bermuda gets. Keep in mind I started these yard back in April 2024. For the first two months I mowed them down to 1.5 inches . Yes that low! Now I am mowing them at two inches! This keeps the lawn low , tight and green all season! This is the closest you can get to reel mowing without actually reel mowing the yard.

So the goal here was to remove these two mulch beds that were mounded up and super compacted to then put down top soil and fescue seed to make it a part of the lawn again. This took me a total of 7 hours of straight up hand labor. I look forward to posting the results in a few weeks.

And another one! The bushes here have not been properly trimmed , so I shaped them up the to regain some uniformity . The goal here is to keep them lightly shaped up to let those gaps fill in. I also mowed the lawn down to the proper height to retrain the morphology of the grass. Remember Bermuda is suppose to be low and tight folks. To top it all off I put out 1.5 yds of double ground hard wood bark mulch for appearance but this also adds an organic layer of nutrients for the plants.
