Dear family and friends,

These days have been harder than I ever imagined. Living in the midst of this uncertainty, in a war zone, has tested us in ways I never thought possible. The nights feel long and scary, but in the midst of the darkness I lift my heart in prayer, trusting that God holds us and covers us with His peace.

“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast in you; because he trusts in you.” ”
Isaiah 26:3

There are moments when my strength disappears, and fear overwhelms me, but right then I feel His presence, reminding me that we are in His care. I cling to His promise, over and over again:

“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge.” ”
Salmo 91:4

Knowing that you have us in your prayers brings us comfort. Each prayer is like a light that breaks through the darkness, reminding us that we are not alone and that God surrounds us through you.

Please continue to pray 🙏 that the opportunity to be evacuated safely arrives soon.

Though days are hard, our hearts are filled with hope as we feel God's embrace in every gesture of you, and we trust that His light will never go out, even in the deepest night...

I received a phone call one day saying that Reverend Jackson needed a few ministers to come stand with him. In that moment, every plan and appointment I had was canceled. Nothing else mattered.

It was truly an honor to stand beside a giant in the faith and in the fight for civil rights, Jesse Jackson.

Gone, but never forgotten. 🕊️

I’m so proud of my grandson Prince. He loves God, loves his family, and is dedicated to both sports and his education. Watching him grow into a young man with strong values, a kind heart, and big goals means more to me than words can say. Keep shining, Prince, the sky is the limit! 🏀🏀🏀
