According to the Alzheimer’s Association, in 2022, an estimated 451,000 veterans lived with Alzheimer’s, and over 130,000 new cases were diagnosed.

The Alzheimer’s Association also states that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs projects by 2033, the number of veterans living with Alzheimer’s dementia will increase by 8.4% to exceed 488,000.
