Realistic Navaho TRC-30A Vintage Radio Shack CB Radio. Power supply failed and some re-capping is needed on the transceiver board.

Fixing a rare, vintage Casio C100p. Handheld, rechargeable printing calculator with LED bubble segment display circa 1972. Very little information is available on it.

Emotiva MC-700 receiver won't turn on? Or having troubles switching HDMI inputs? Issue is likely failing capacitors on the SMPS power supply. Capacitor C7 is a 47uF 25V and C18 is 470uF 16V. C18 looked obviously bulging on the top vent while C7 looked OK. Testing both caps in circuit showed questionable ESR. Removed from the board and both tested with far too high ESR. Replaced with Panasonic FR-series caps and upped C18 to a 25V rating. Issue resolved! Back to listening to hardbass!
"VIP Communicator" circa 1978. the first handheld TTY (teletypewriter) for the hearing impaired. All self-contained including rechargeable battery pack and optional secondary display. Internal display is a super-bright alphanumeric LED segment display.
