ETA: Let's do the math. Let's say the average grilled cheese sandwich has a mass of 100 g, which is arguably a low mass for a decent grilled cheese sandwich, but I digress. Taking 1,000 grilled cheese sandwiches, that's a mass of 100,000 g. Convert 1 cubic inch to cubic centimeters and you get 16.387 cm³. Compressing 100,000 g into 16.387 cm² results in a density of 6,102 g/cm³. For comparison, the core of the Sun has a density of 150–160 g/cm³. White dwarfs are small stars by the standards of stars and have a density of 10,000 g/cm³ on the low end. So 1,000 grilled cheese sandwiches crammed into 1 in³ approaches the density of a low density white dwarf star, and 1,000 good quality grilled cheese sandwiches crammed into 1 in³ would have the density of a white dwarf.
