Freehannd Lettering

I had the honor to contribute some light lettering to my best friend’s wedding. (There was another chalkboard but I didn’t snag a pic). Highlights of my life will always include being able to letter for both of my best friend’s weddings. 😊

Welp, I was going to print this off and send Christmas cards... but it just wasn’t in the cards for 2020. This is what it would have said, so just pretend like you went to your mailbox and found it:

Today I saw a bee moving from dandelion to dandelion. I started thinking about how the bees don’t really know that their own species is facing a crisis right now. They just work. Move from dandelion to dandelion— pesky little weeds that we consider a dime a dozen. I’m sure a garden full of flowers would serve the bee much better. But he’s doing fine. He found refuge in our little patch of grass. He continued on. We are promised refuge and strength, but sometimes that looks like weeds. That’s where faith kicks in. Little by little, we continue on. Even if our own hopes grow sparse.
