The sewing machine was invented to end the pain (literally) of hand stitching everything from corsets to curtains. Did you know? The world record for the fastest time to machine sew a dress is under 10 minutes? (Please don’t try this at home unless you like chaos and blood.) For those who may be having issues connecting wirelessly with their machines: Please note:
Hi All,
We have received an update regarding Wifi machines from SVP and I thought I would share with you ... the short version is that you will need to use a USB to transfer files to your machine for a bit.
What's Happening
Some connected machines are showing as offline and won’t let customers sign in to CREATIVATE™ / mySewnet, even on a healthy Wi‑Fi network. The cause is an external internet service the machines use to confirm they’re online, which has stopped responding.
This is an outside‑service outage that affects multiple manufacturers — it is not a fault in the machine, the customer’s network, or anything you did.
Doing the following won’t resolve the issue and can create new problems, so please ...
DON'T change network or DNS settings on the machine.
DON'T perform a factory reset.
What's Coming
SVP is preparing a software fix that will be able to apply to the machines, and will provide step‑by‑step guidance as soon as it’s validated. They're not sharing a date yet as they would rather give a firm answer than a guess.
