Jesus has defeated death, crushed the enemy, and rose again victoriously! We can now have unity with Jesus forever!

This day is also known as Silent Saturday. This day holds a moment of silence between the brutal and undeserving death of our Savior and His victorious resurrection.

"So they took Jesus, and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha. There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them. Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It read, “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.”

The Bible does not specifically record what Jesus did on the Wednesday of Holy Week. Many scholars believe that, following two demanding days in Jerusalem, He and His disciples likely spent that day resting in Bethany. It is also on this day that scholars believe Judas agreed to betray Jesus.

The religious leaders feel increasingly threatened by the way that mass crowds are recognizing Jesus as a spiritual authority and even as the Son of God. You can get a deeper perspective of the parables Jesus shares in Matthew 21:23–24:51, Mark 11:20–13:37, and Luke 20:1–21:36.
