Five cars and a dozen team members were needed to transport this generous donation from Community Harvest Food Bank - Fort Wayne to our Gregory L. Manifold Food Pantry! Thanks to a grant CHFB received, our agency qualified and was selected as their beneficiary and we couldn't be more grateful. These donations will help us serve our HIV and Hepatitis C clients who use the pantry every month. THANK YOU!

The donations also come as a timely tribute to our former director, Gregory L. Manifold, who passed away on Monday. Loading all the boxes felt like a huge honor to his name and legacy. 💙

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude that we share the passing of Gregory L. Manifold, a truly transformative leader in our agency's history.

As our Executive Director from 1998-2011, Gregory stepped in during a time of uncertainty and guided our agency (then the AIDS Task Force) into an era of stability, growth, and community trust. From leading our move to Oxford Street to capturing our history in his "personal love project" book, Gregory’s vision shaped the foundation of who we are today.

His heart was always with our clients. “Meeting their needs and making people’s lives better was our highest accomplishment." To honor his boundless compassion, our client pantry was named the Gregory L. Manifold Food Pantry upon his retirement, ensuring his legacy and spirit of giving always lives on.

We extend our deepest sympathies to Gregory’s family, friends, and all who loved him. He often said that his time with us was a "great gift" to him, but in truth, his leadership and lifelong advocacy were an immeasurable gift to all of us. Rest in peace, Gregory. 🕊️

Help our unhoused neighbors! Every week, our Street Outreach team heads out of the office to connect with clients, familiar friends and new faces in need of testing, treatment, other services and essential resources. Street Outreach relies heavily on donations to distribute basic necessities like sunscreen, water bottles, soap and Chapstick. Want to contribute? We were honored to partner with BU Wellness Network and Gilead Sciences at the 4th Annual Long-Term Survivors Summit in Indianapolis this year. This empowering event celebrates resilience, honors long-term survivors, and brings together community members, advocates, and service providers for a day of education, inspiration, and connection. ❤️

The CDC recommends ALL adults be tested for Hepatitis C. While early detection is key in preventing liver damage, Hep C can be cured at most stages within 8-12 weeks.
