Primary Engineering designed the MEP systems for the new Fortville Elementary School in Fortville, Indiana, that opened for grades K-4 for the 2025-2026 school year. We designed mechanical systems to enhance energy efficiency, improve fault tolerance in equipment failures, improve space comfort, and reduced overall project costs. For classrooms, we specified using vertical unit ventilators to control individual space conditions and to reduce the fan energy needed to condition the building by using hydronic piping to distribute heating and cooling to each unit with minimal transport energy use. We also designed energy-efficient lighting systems and a power distribution system for flexibility and growth over the life of the new facility.

We had a great time this week playing in the YMCA Camp Potawotami Golf Outing with good friends Damian and Jordan. The weather was perfect and the golf was fun. The outing raised over $45,000 for the camp. Many thanks to the sponsors and friends of our firm that helped in the event.
