🐾 Meet Dexy!
Say hello to Dexy, a lovable 8-year-old poodle mix who has captured the hearts of Amy and Scott in Sycamore Hills. ❤️

Dexy was found as a stray along a rural Allen County highway by Dr. Ed McKaig of New Haven Pet Hospital. When Amy and Scott learned she needed a home, they knew she was too special to pass up.

Her name is a fun tribute to the 1980s band Dexy’s Midnight Runners, while her middle name, Edwina, honors the veterinarian who helped rescue her.

The 2026 SYC Swim Team made a splash this summer with nearly 200 swimmers, plenty of team spirit, and a fun “Duck Duck Swim!” theme. 🦆

SYC returned to League 1 of the Fort Wayne Summer Swim League for the first time since 2021, celebrated big wins, and saw two swimmers break long-standing team records. 🏆

But the best part of the season was the friendships, personal bests, cheering from the sidelines, and memories made along the way. 💙

Mark your calendar for September 3! Three Rivers Yoga Foundation’s annual Fill the Field fundraiser is coming to Parkview Field. 🌟

Enjoy an all-levels yoga class under the lights, plus music, games, concessions, and local vendors.

Even better, your support helps bring free yoga and mindfulness programs to schools, recovery programs, veterans, and other members of our community.

Several Sycamore Hills neighbors are involved with the foundation, including Rachel Wender, Judge Wendy Davis, Kim Terrill, and Beth Jewett.

🐾 Precious Pets of the Month: Millie, Marla & Summer! ❤️

Meet the three pups who keep the Clay household full of energy, personality, and plenty of love!

Millie, a 7-year-old chocolate Lab, loves swimming. Marla, a 5-year-old English Setter, is simply “Marla.” And 3-year-old Golden Retriever Summer is happiest with a tennis ball and a game of fetch. 🐶🎾

Summer’s story is especially inspiring. After overcoming serious health challenges, including cancer surgery, she’s back to doing what she loves most: chasing tennis balls. ❤️

These three spoiled pups bring plenty of joy, companionship, and wagging tails to the Clay family!
