An Empirical Observation of Things Typically Unseen

Abstract

This article is about an observation and the findings that are the result of the curiosity to observe the apparent location of the Sun during the August 21, 2017, solar eclipse.

It is not all the time that questions lead to observations, but it is observations that lead to questions. Usually we don’t have a chance to observe beyond the blue sky with the Sun Above the horizon.

Rayleigh Scattering is typically a veil concealing the stars and planets from our view in the daytime. This particular observation was captured by using a prosumer camcorder that was pointed
directly at the apparent position of the Sun for a few hours without a solar filter.

Despite the observation being performed
outside of the Moon’s umbra, while being in the Moon’s penumbra, the dimming of the sky was perceivable to the naked eye and the camcorder.

This article focuses on the empirical
observation of the phenomenons captured by the apparatus.

A plethora of small spherical objects became visible along with other various light phenomenon. Upon meticulous review of the
data it became apparent the practical method of capturing a pole to pole image of the Earth while standing on the Earth’s surface.

Ultimately it is discerned that just as the Sun and Earth share an ecliptic plane, radius vector, semi-axis and major axis, like wise the Sun and the Earth and or the Sun and an observer on the Earth share a principle axis on which a principal focus and/or secondary focus can be obtained from the surface of the Earth.

This point of focus reveals an image of the Earth.

FORT WAYNE NATIVE CAPTURES AN IMAGE OF THE EARTH

FORT WAYNE, IN – A Fort Wayne man has captured an image of the earth – while standing on the earth.

“This likely is the most significant observation of a solar eclipse since the May 29, 1919, solar eclipse that validated Albert Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity,” says Wright.

Brandon Wright, owner of SquareOne Video Productions & Promotions, recently finished a 19-page research article outlining his recorded observations from Fort Wayne during the August 21, 2017, solar eclipse.

Wright’s article, “An Empirical Observation of Things Typically Unseen,” documents the process undertaken to capture a pole-to-pole image of the Earth – while standing on the earth. Wright says the work took him five years to complete while being a single father, small business owner and essential worker throughout the pandemic.

“Despite the daily stresses that come with living life and being a single parent, that it was important for me to finish my scientific article to effectively communicate the results of the observations in a scientific manner,” Wright said.

Wright admits that there are some specific questions that remain for which he doesn’t have the answer. He can only hypothesize. He hopes that further review of his work, as well as future observations, can provide definitive answers to questions that remain.

Wright says the consensus among those he’s shared his claim with, academic scholars across the world, is that “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.” Wright hopes to provide that evidence with his findings.
