Friends! This Thursday, April 23, we're back at Boots & Bourbon 2026, the annual fundraiser for the terrific Camp Red Cedar. We played one of the camp's earliest fundraisers back in 2006(!), and are thrilled to be back twenty years later. That '06 performance was in a horse paddock; this year's event takes place in the camp's gorgeous Lodge, with amazing food and drinks, and a deeply meaningful cause. (Photo above is from last year's event.) Tix and more in through Camp Red Cedar's website. PS Boots & Bourbon starts at 6PM—you can still make it down to The Clyde for Wilco…

Thank you, Citizen Vinyl, for the superb work!

The fifth album from The Legendary Trainhoppers , 'A Conspiracy of Ravens' features ten new songs from the band. The album was written and performed by Casey Stansifer, Chris Dodds, Dan Smyth, Matt Kelley and Phil Potts, with guest performances by Daniel Hogan, Daniel Vaides, Ed Renz, Jason Davis and Cassie Beer.

"Making up songs with your friends and then recording them—especially if you record them at Off the Cuff Sound—invites you to look through both ends of the telescope. Challenges and demands it, really," writes Matt Kelly on his Substack blog, Most Likely No Problem. "This act—making up songs with your friends and then recording them—is human, yet supernatural. It’s a sentimental education; we’re holding mercury in our hands.

"And with these recordings, we’re documenting these songs—we’re making a record of them—for this one moment in time; the year, the month, the week and the day."

The digital album was released in February. It was proudly pressed to vinyl and cassette at Citizen Vinyl.

Fabulous shots from Jared Christiansen at Down the Line 20 at Embassy Theatre where we were asked to cover the 1960s for this 'Eras' edition of Down the Line. We're grateful for the staff, board and volunteers at the Embassy for welcoming us back, for the USF design students who contributed graphic backdrops, and of course to We Are Checkmark, Kaitlyn Schmit and Friends, Neighborhood Strays and Tuesday Atlas for the good times together. Onward, y'all!
