Their first vet check went very well. The staff at Allen Veterinary Hospital are AMAZING! These two little patients weighed in at a healthy 1.44 and 1.66 pounds. Hearts and lungs, ears and eyes were all good! And they even got their own private tour of the building! I love that everyone there helps me socialize my cats. 🙂
Thank you Allen Vet staff!

Friendly reminder that EVERY season is flea and tick season!
It’s getting colder, and while you might expect most creepy crawlers to be less active right now, that’s unfortunately not the case for fleas and ticks. This morning, we pulled all of these guys off of a dog after his walk - there’s over 20 ticks in that tube!! 😮
Fleas and ticks can be active in temperatures as low as 35 degrees. With our winters getting milder all the time, we recommend continuing prevention year-round to avoid diseases spread by these parasites AND to keep these gross guys out of your house.

Koko was a good boy for getting his feathers cleaned today, so he got to share a little breakfast treat with his bestie Katie ❤️

Dr. Rademaker had an awesome day when he got to see this beautiful girl! 😍
Annie Oakley was over 8 feet long!!! 😲😲😲 (Yes, that is a tape measure on Dr. R’s pocket - we had to know! 😂)

We apologize if you can’t see the perfect pup in these pictures. Danny Phantom has the power of invisibility, and he’s definitely using it to get all the spray cheese he can get 🧀 🧀 🧀

Our staff has some weird addictions. Unfortunately, our poor patients are often the victims of our insatiable cravings.
We see a dog with long hair? We’re gonna HAVE TO make a mohawk. We simply cannot leave that hair where it sits. We are completely incapable of resisting the urge.
Nessie, I apologize that your beautiful locks made you a victim of our addiction. It WILL happen again. ❤️

Look at this absolutely stunning little guy!!!
Moe is albino which means that he has no pigmentation. Albinism is uncommon in the wild since the lack of pigment makes these guys easier targets for predators. Lucky for Moe, he’s got a cushy life indoors!
This beauty does come at a price as albinism makes these guys’ skin and eyes more sensitive. It’s important to be mindful of sun exposure as albino pets can easily get sunburnt.
